Tennessee Old Time Music Box

Here is another old time music box.  Ed finished this one up, and it sits on the dining room table for easy access.   This is a four string variation of a Tennessee music box.  Ed built it out of pine, and stained it with dark walnut.  He used some old galvanized sheet metal for the front and hooked it up with a modern pick-up.  It can be played acoustic or electric.   You can play old time blue grass or hard rock!

It measures 11" x 30" x 3 1/4".  He tuned it to DAD.   Here are a few more close ups of the  sweet box.

The tuners that Ed used are eye bolts that he pickled in vinegar to make them look old.

May your day be filled with sweet music.     Smile On!      Audrey
